Something I learnt through my 15 year experience as a Sports Therapist is that the area of pain is rarely the source of the problem. When a muscle becomes injured there is a knock on effect throughout the body. Mobility is affected and referred pain presents.
Only when the area of trauma is identified can we begin the repair process by breaking down knots, realigning muscles and restoring mobility. Whilst emotional pain may present in a slightly different guise, a similar process can be used to attain the right results.
With a multitude of men in my life; husband, son, stepsons and brothers, there have been many a moment of discontent over the past decade. I have also overcome my own health and professional battles to bring me to my current status and feel that these can only add value to what I have to offer as a Coach.
